Welcome Message from Our Leadership

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome you to the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program

Our program, the largest of its kind in South Florida, is based in Hialeah and plays a vital role in Miami-Dade County. Miami's rich cultural diversity offers a one-of-a-kind clinical experience filled with both challenges and rewards. This vibrant city is a melting pot of diverse cultures, predominantly influenced by our large Hispanic community but enriched by traditions, languages, and stories from around the world. This cultural tapestry translates into an exceptional clinical experience that is both challenging and rewarding.

Our partnership with the Citrus Family Care Network, the Community Based Care Lead Agency for Child Welfare, expands our reach to serve an extensive child welfare demographic spanning both Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. Serving this community has been a privilege and an invaluable learning experience, which we are eager to share with our fellows.

Our program is based in a Federally Qualified Health Center and stands out because of our integration with community wrap-around services. Our care is multidisciplinary and holistic, addressing not only psychiatric needs but also the sociocultural nuances of every child and family we encounter. We train and develop clinicians to be visionary leaders in the field. If you're seeking to be at the forefront of child and adolescent psychiatric care and wish to embark on a journey of personal and professional growth, you've found your home.

With warmth and enthusiasm,
